General Information about the Air Conditioning System

The refrigeration cycle operates in a closed system, where the refrigerant is recirculated and undergoes multiple state changes – from vapor to liquid and back:

1. The compressor takes in the cold gas (refrigerant), compresses it, and raises its temperature up to 80°C;

2. The condenser cools the refrigerant to 40°C – 50°C and transforms it into liquid

3. The expansion valve suddenly lowers the pressure and temperature of the liquid, resulting in a mix of cold liquid and vapor.

4. The evaporator absorbs the heat from the cabin and transforms the cold liquid back into gas.

The cycle repeats continuously to cool the air inside the cabin.

ASAM Automotive AC compressors are manufactured in some of the largest factories in the world, which supply products globally for the most well-known brands in the industry. They have a production capacity of hundreds of thousands of units per month, with automated assembly lines and rigorous quality testing.
